The most unfair thing you can ever do to yourself is compare you (the only you in the world might I add) to someone else. Don’t underestimate what it cost to be you, because that price isn’t cheap. Some of us had to go through years of being put-down before we gained our current confidence. Some of us are financially stable because we spent most of our lives broke.  But living it, we didn’t know broke and the put-downs would be the things that led to the confidence and financial stability.

Perspective is everything.

You’re not behind, nor are you ahead of anyone, but you are being aligned within your own journey. If you think you can’t overcome it you won’t, but the truth is you can. Forgive yourself for what didn’t happen and for what you didn’t fix. Accept what was outside of your control and stretch yourself to better not bitter.

The only person you should be comparing yourself to is your past self. Are you further along than you were six months ago? Do you still have the same perspectives as you did last year?
Get curious about you and watch what you do.
