Weekly Squirts

Check out what you missed last week…

A federal judge ordered Sketchers to stop producing their Onix shoes due to the striking resemblance it has to the Adidas Stan Smith. Nice try Sketchers, but NO!

It’s no secret that Nene Leaks has always been no-nonsense on the scene, but now she’s ruffling the feathers of her co-hosts (Melissa Rivers, Margaret Cho, and Giuliani Rancic) on The Fashion Police show. The show’s ratings have already dropped tremendously since the sudden death of the infamous Joan Rivers, but it’s hard to say if the diva egos will help or nah.

Kevin Durant has released his Nike KD 8 Aunt Pearl. The shoe is inspired by his aunt Pearl who passed away in 2000 due to lung cancer. The shoes released today retailing at $200 a pop.

Nike dropped boxer Manny Pacquiao like hot shit for his comment expressing his feelings on same-sex marriage stating they were “worse than animals”.

Motofumi Kogi (aka Poggy), creative director for United Arrows & Sons have collaborated with NYC based headphone brand Master & Dynamic on the limited-edition MH40 Headphones. There will only be 20 units sold via United Arrows & Sons in Japan retailing for $550.

Despite her sudden cancellation at this year’s Grammys due to bronchitis issues she’s set to headline the V Festival alongside Justin Beiber this year. The event will take place the weekend of August 20th-21st at Hylands Park/Weston Park.

Lady Gaga rocked the runway way for Marc Jacobs Ready-to-Wear at NYFW

Congratulations to Kendrick Lamar for racking up 11 nominations and 5 wins at this year’s 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards.

Who’s the best?! DJ Khaled of course, who else would rock their Yeezy boots with their tuxedo during the Grammys red carpet.

Congratulations Channing Dungey for becoming the first black person to lead a major broadcasting network. Werk!

Malgosia Bela is the pretty face for Rag & Bones’s 2016 Spring and Summer campaign

10-year-old Ify Ufele created her own clothing line after being teased constantly about her weight at school. Because of her will to not let being bullied defeat her, she was privileged to floss her creations on the runway of NYFW.

Just like any other designer, Ify Ufele prepared models to floss her creations on the NYFW runway.

50 ran his mouth a little too much on Instagram and now the bankruptcy judge wants another meet and greet. Let this be a lesson to all the knuckleheads out there posting ‘extreme unnecessaries’ on your social media everybody’s watching and that includes the ATF, CIA, FBI, as well as your local PD so keep your shit tight.

Leomie Anderson put the makeup artists assisting with NYFW on blast. She made mention that she shouldn’t have to carry her own make-up because the makeup artists don’t carry colors to match her skin. This isn’t the first time the British model has made her voice known on these type of issues and I got a feeling it won’t be the last.

Following up with her New York Fashion Week debut, Rihanna presents her Rihanna x PUMA Fenty Trainer due to drop this Friday at select retailers such as Rise.

  1. A few things..I don’t like the Nike Pearls but everything ain’t for everybody.. Nene is controversy to the 10th power which is how she makes her coin, however sometimes she needs to dial it back.. And 50..SHUT UP!! ..Shout out to the young entrepreneur, she is on her way to the TOP. One word of advice when you get there young lady, learn from 50 and be humble and HUSH!!
