I’m working on implementing some next level ideas for Joi To The World that I can’t wait to share with you guys. If you noticed by my most recent posts, I’ve started adding more Joi to the world. You’re probably thinking, “isn’t that the point…the title…duh”. Well it is, but if you read the About Me you’ll know that my dream is to become a fashion merchandiser so it’s important to know if you guys hate what I pick, love what I pick, or uhhhh…maybe what I pick. I want to buy for stores, I want to become someone’s personal stylist, and it doesn’t necessarily have to be in that order. Really, if someone like Bazaar loved my blog enough to buy it, that in itself would be an opportunity. With all of that said, keep a watch out for a collaboration of you and more Joi to the world.
I never want to leave you guys without sharing something that I’ve learned or experienced since I last wrote. I’ve been searching for mentor(s) for certain things I want to do. As I venture out to these uncharted waters my desire is to have someone share their wisdom with me so I can avoid common pitfalls, but it seemed like as soon as I decided to look for a mentor everything around me got quiet. There was no one to bounce ideas off of and people couldn’t give me the answers to my questions. What I’ve learned is that right now I can’t see where I’m going, but I know I can’t stop moving; I think they call that walking by faith and not by sight and if that’s what it is, it’s okay with me, until next time guys.
