I started this blog as a vent to release my love for fashion, with an interest in fashion merchandising. I’ll admit, I’m not big on the college thing and I won’t waste my money on it with that type of an attitude. So I understand that I have to work harder if I want to get what I’m after.
…and what is that?
I’ve been dipping in a little of everything. I’m really enjoying the writing piece of the blog, I love working behind the scene of fashion shows, I’m taking a fashion merchandising course online that allows me to work at my own pace. The challenges of trying to pull all of this off in addition to my regular 9 to 5 is a stimulating experience in itself, but that’s okay. I love fresh experiences and I want a lot of them in the fashion industry. I believe in working smart versus hard, so I’m a huge fan of building off of past experiences whether good or bad. It’s my desire to experience every crack and corner of fashion that exists. I want to learn everything from the tags on the clothes to the politics of the front row.
Below are a few of my favorites post from the previous year. Thank you! Thank you for subscribing to the site, liking, and following Joi To The World on your social media. Thank you for finding my thoughts and ideas on fashion entertaining enough to keep coming back.
