Model and entrepreneur are only a couple of hats worn by Nyasha Matonhodze.
Matonhodze represented Miss Africa USA and from that, flourished to appearances in Glamour, Forbes, Africa Destiny, J’Dore and Grazia. She’s walked for brands such as Loewe, Jonathan Saunders, Emanuel Ungaro, and Louis Vuitton. Her additional appearances consist of Vogue, Dazed & Confused, Allure, Haprer’s Bazzar, and Teen Vogue.
Matonhodze is the owner of Embrace Your Hair and creator of MYHY (My Hair is Your Hair) which is a program that gives free hair solutions to breast cancer survivors in need. She’s also a spokesperson for Russell Simmons “Diamond Empowerment Fund”. In 2012 she was the first ever black African female business owner to partner with one of the largest department store chains on the continent. Now if that doesn’t go under the awesome category on the resume I don’t know what does, enjoy the post.
